Dr. Sachin Shakya is a cancer specialist on a mission to deliver highest quality and advanced oncology care in a supportive and compassionate environment to all his patients. He is also interested in preventive and palliative oncology. His work has been published in national and international journals and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), SAARC Federation of Oncologist Nepal (SFON), Nepalese Association of Palliative Care (NAP-Care) and Board Member of Nepal Cancer Support Group (NCSG). He holds an MD post graduate degree in Medical Oncology from Peoples Friendship University, Moscow, Russia. At present he coordinates the Department of Medical Oncology at Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Centre..
